Miller Fabrication Solutions Opening Its Doors for Free Plant Tours on Manufacturing Day, Oct. 2
Miller’s MFG Day events give visitors a behind-the-scenes look at advanced manufacturing technologies in action
BROOKVILLE, Pa. – Sept. 8, 2026 – Miller Fabrication Solutions (Miller), a strategic steel fabrication partner for global original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), invites the public to free plant tours on Manufacturing Day (MFG Day) Friday, Oct. 2. Held the first Friday of every October, MFG Day is a nationwide event designed to showcase modern manufacturing and foster interest in manufacturing careers.

Miller opens its doors every year on MFG Day, hosting diverse groups, including educators, students, customers, vendors and the public. Three of Miller’s plants will be open for free tours on Oct. 2 starting at 9 a.m.
Visitors will get a firsthand look at how automation is transforming the manufacturing floor. At Miller’s 186,000-square-foot Pine Creek plant, for example, two impressive pieces of equipment will be on display: the Trumpf TruLaser Center 7030, a state-of-the-art laser cutter, and a precision Messer plasma cutting machine. Miller is one of only two manufacturers in the country to pair the Messer plasma cutting machine with a material handling system and smart crane – a move the company made to maximize productivity by automating the loading, unloading and part-sorting processes.
Manufacturing plays a vital role in helping communities thrive and in creating opportunities for future generations. With manufacturers expected to have nearly 4 million jobs to fill over the next decade, MFG Day helps build awareness and excitement around career opportunities and benefits of working in the industry. This annual, national event gives people an opportunity to get a firsthand look at the trends, technologies and processes shaping modern manufacturing.
“Manufacturing Day is a great opportunity to help people understand the exciting careers available in our industry and to showcase how automation and robotics are helping Miller stay at the forefront of modern manufacturing,” said Eric D. Miller, the company’s president. “Each year, we open our doors so students and anyone who’s interested can see advanced manufacturing equipment and technologies in action. We hope the experience gives people a better sense of the rewarding careers and possibilities the industry has to offer.”
Miller requests that people who wish to attend MFG Day register in advance. Miller’s MFG Day tours will run every 15 minutes on Oct. 2 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. EDT at these locations:
