Miller is honored for enabling manufacturing excellence

BROOKVILLE, Pa. – April 23, 2026 – Miller Fabrication Solutions, a strategic steel fabrication partner for global original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), has been recognized as a finalist in the National Association of Manufacturers’ 2026 Manufacturing Leadership Awards for its outstanding achievement in the Business Model Transformation award category.

Through its business transformation initiative, Miller is redefining what’s possible for a mid-size U.S. metal fabricator. The company leveraged advanced automation, data-driven decision-making and centralized operations in its new Pine Creek plant, the company’s fourth manufacturing facility. The 186,000-square-foot plant, which was fully operational in June 2025, solved critical space constraints, persistent labor shortages and inefficiencies created by running high-volume workflows across three geographically separated plants.

Pine Creek enabled Miller to automate key frontline processes, align equipment into a true end-to-end workflow and eliminate repetitive component handling that previously slowed throughput. The facility features highly specialized machinery found at very few American metal fabricators, including a Messer plasma cutting system paired with smart cranes for automated part sorting and a TRUMPF TruLaser Center 7030 that automates cutting from drawing to sorted part.

Miller will be recognized along with all other award finalists at NAM’s Manufacturing Leadership Awards Gala, which will take place June 24, 2026, at the Fairmont Princess in Scottsdale, Ariz. Winners in all project and individual categories will be announced at that time, along with the Manufacturers of the Year and Manufacturing Leader of the Year. The gala is the closing event for Rethink: Accelerating Digital Transformation in Manufacturing.
